Senior Project Manager - SAP S4 HANA IS-U

100% remote work but must attend onsite meetings as needed (4-12 times for the year) in Monroe, CT, must be in surrounding region who can attend onsite meeting on own expenses

Work Schedule: Part-time 10-20 hours January-June; Full-time 40 hours July-December

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a SAP S4 HANA Project Manager who will provide overall project leadership including scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, deliverables, communication with internal stakeholders, external teams and System Integration partner.

Required Skills And Experience

Additional tasks include Planning and Strategy, including timelines, deliverables, Resource Management including vendors, Project Governance and Security, QA including testing and UAT and Post Go Live support and Change Management:

• Prior utilities SAP ECC/ISU experience (& the underlying work processes) - contact center, field services mobile, work orders/notifications, etc
• Skillful in S4 phase 0 (as-is assessment) activities - readiness check, custom code analysis, CVI BP elements
• Evaluated alt S4 tech approaches (to-be) - RISE, non-RiSE, on-premise, hosting-hyperscaler’s alt (SAP, Azure, AWC), BW migration/re-platforming, and the BOM/SAP licensing implications
• Lead the development of S4 RFP’s that outline the future-state (to-be) desired architecture, conversion approach, etc -
• Worked on both sides of S4 engagements, as Systems Integrator and Customer/Stakeholder
• Career progression from SAP developer, SAP system architect, into the PMO
• Experience with multiple S4 brownfield (non greenfield) conversions.
