Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time employed senior researcher with passion and a solid background in 3D Generation and Reconstruction, including but not limited to explicit and implicit 3D representation, image/text-to-3D generation, single-view or multi-view 3D reconstruction, mesh regularization, shape abstraction, and etc. We aim to apply cutting-edge techniques to Tencent Games; you will have an opportunity to witness your work improving experience of millions of users!

In this role you are expected to have deep understanding of 3D reconstruction, generative models, or shape abstraction algorithms, such as Nerf, Neus, Gaussian Splatting, Triplane, InstantNGP, Diffusion Models, GAN, MVDream, SSD-Nerf, ProlificDreamer, DreamGaussian, DMTet, Marching Primitives, and etc. You will work with researchers and engineers inTencent Games to guide the future of Tencent’s interactive entertainment technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent research and development of state-of-the-art algorithms and emerging technologies of 3D generation & reconstruction.
• Cooperate with engineers to optimize advanced algorithms and integrate them into future products.
  
  

Requirements:

Key Qualifications:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in 3D generation, 3D reconstruction, or shape abstraction.
• Ability to optimize 3D related algorithms and familiar with common 3D tools.
• Strong coding skills of Python or C++.
• Familiar with at least one common Deep Learning tool, such as PyTorch or Tensorflow.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and self-study skills.
  
  

Plus:

• Publications in top computer vision or computer graphics conferences or journals, e.g. CVPR, ICCV, TOG, TPAMI, and etc.
• Expert in at least one of the following research fields: 3D reconstruction, generative models, image/text-to-3D, geometry optimization
  
  

Education & Experience

Minimum: MS - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and related fields.

Preferred: PhD - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and related fields.

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $111,160 to $204,460 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
