Job Summary

The Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for partnering with multiple departments including Sales, IT, Finance and using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions *

  • Collects and evaluates sales data and analyzes sales objectives.
  • Prepares sales forecasts, recommends quotas for sales representatives, and advises on changes.
  • Partner with multiple departments to review available data and reporting.
  • Prepares technical reports by analyzing and summarizing the information and trends.
  • Provides management and analysis of business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
  • Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
  • Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
  • Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points.
  • Assist in monitoring the quality of data within assigned units and facilitate disposition of data quality exceptions.
  • Assist in developing metrics to measure plan performance with the business and policy and standards for assigned units.
  • Coordinates components of the data program within an assigned area of the company, carrying out the execution of governance, quality, issue management, reporting, data architecture, solutions, analytics, or project management activities.

The Senior Sales Analyst is expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of business analytics

  • Strong ability to multi-task allowing for work on several projects at a time.
  • Strong desire to learn new concepts and ability to adapt to new processes.
  • Strong independent decision making.
  • Ability to explain and defend complex concepts and calculations.
  • Desire to research and understand trends within and outside the hardware industry.

Must be located in the Cincinnati area and able to come in the office 2-3 days a week.
