Senior Sales Engineering Manager

Executive Recruiters and Consultants are searching for a Senior Sales Engineering Manager. Our client is a dynamic and innovative Series A company revolutionizing how businesses access and collect data. Their cloud-based business intelligence platform, offering solutions like data integration and pipelining automation, is at the forefront of transforming industries. To support their growth, we are actively seeking a talented Presales Engineer.


Job Description: As a Senior Sales Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of sales engineers. You will be pivotal in fostering collaboration between sales, marketing, and operations. Your expertise will be crucial in executing go-to-market strategies and driving the platform's adoption. This role requires practical knowledge of the platform, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop technical architectures to address unique challenges.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and leadership to identify and cultivate opportunities with Mid-Market to Enterprise companies.
  • Design and manage successful proof-of-concepts (POCs) and deliver effective solutions.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of APIs, troubleshooting logs, and proficiency in web technologies, HTML, and CSS.
  • Serve as a technical liaison, delivering presentations, demos, and trials.
  • Respond to technical Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Execute a repeatable technical sales process involving data preparation, analysis, and executive presentations.
  • Proactively initiate initiatives to drive new business development and operational excellence.
  • Support field marketing events and serve as a company expert.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience building and leading teams.
  • 6 years of presales experience in a technical SaaS environment.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced technology/SaaS company.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and demonstrate value propositions.
  • Ability to influence both executive and technical audiences.
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results and target-driven mindset.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Experience working with APIs, troubleshooting logs, and proficiency in web technologies, HTML, and CSS is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java, or Node.js is advantageous.
