Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Houston Texas office. This role is a hybrid position.

Operational Specialist – Application Deployment

What Can You Expect

• MMC environment consists of circa 40 SCCM Servers Globally, supporting 100,000 colleagues on multiple Operating Systems
• Working as part of a global team the successful candidate will be required to Package Applications alongside performing Configuration Manager current branch administration duties using native and customized toolset.
• The role has an escalation path to the Senior Specialist responsible for BAU operational activities and will report directly to the Deployment Manager for man management guidance.
• The job role requires a software deployment specialist who can lead and deliver as part of the team. It also requires a flexible attitude regarding work, supporting different timezones with the occasional weekend and after-hours support. This role does have direct reports.

We will count on you to:

• Manage your own workload while maintaining internal packaging & deployment standards.
• Recommends alterations to developments and designs; improving quality of products/procedures.
• Support Engineering staff in one or more of the following areas: standards, projects, level III support issues for application packaging customisation/Infrastructure/Technology.
• Ability to Trains, leads, mentors, Engineers and Managers.
• Help Creates, manages, maintains departmental policies, processes and procedures; relating to standards, projects and cross functional interoperability with Senior Specialist.
• Consultants to aid in the development of solutions; Works closely with the Project Management Office and stakeholders to provide guidance in line with internal best practice.
• Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness working alongside Senior Specialist.
• Works with Senior Specialist to Document Operational procedures; hand-off to the Operations Group.
  
  

What you need to have:

• Must have 5+ years packaging experience with a min of 2+ years Flexera Admin Studio
• Expertise in creating and deploying MAC packages using JAMF Pro.
• Expertise in VBS and Powershell scripting.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years working experience SCCM current branch.
• Windows 10 required.
• Software Update management through SCCM required.
• ITIL methodology including strong Change Management understanding.
• Ticketing process Knowledge.
• Must have experience working in a complex busy environment supporting an SCCM and Application Packaging environment.
