Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the Railway industry, is seeking a Sr. SQL DBA / Engineer proficient in Powershell and SQL version upgrades / migrations. The current project is upgrading from 2012/2014 SQL to 2022 SQL- 4-5 version jump.
Must have experience:
10 years of SQL Server DBA work (All on premise)
Replication and migration of this kind is ideal
PowerShell(4-5 years) is needed for failure points
Scripting - is all proprietary; they’ll keep a copy of all builds
Current Environment:
Over 6000 databases- SQL 2012 & 2014 current state
Always on
