Senior SQL Server and MySQL DBA

CBTS is searching for an experienced and talented SQL Server and MySQL DBA for a fulltime 6 Month Contract to Hire position in Phoenix, AZ. This SQL Server DBA should be familiar with enterprise production-based SQL server running in a fast-paced environment working with cutting-edge technologies. This role is 100% ONSITE 5 days a week.

Candidates must have strong performance tuning, patching and Dailey operations support experience. Candidates must have senior skills working with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL and some PowerShell. Candidates with additional Development skills will be paid at the higher Salary band level.

Responsibilities:

• Managing SQL Server databases.
• Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes.
• Monitoring system's health and performance.
• Ensuring high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
• Analyzing solving and correcting issues in real-time.
• Providing suggestions for solutions.
• Refining and automating regular processes, tracking issues, and documenting changes.
• Assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
• Providing support for critical production systems.

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role.
• 5 years’ experience with MY SQL Server Administration experience required.
• 5 years’ experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization
• 5 years’ experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• 5 years’ experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server.
• 5 years’ experience with Windows servers, including Active Directory.
• Good knowledge of T-SQL and scription (including PowerShell)
