As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role as a versatile technical expert, handling diverse tasks and projects across multiple domains. Your responsibilities demand a wide-ranging skill set, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach. Additional areas of focus include and are not limited to the following:


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting with IT inquiries.
  • Manage and maintain servers, databases, and other IT infrastructure components
  • Develop and maintain company websites with new features, performance, and compatibility.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and visualization to drive informed decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures such as firewall configuration, intrusion detection, and security audits to protect company assets.
  • Coordinate tasks, manage project timelines and resources, and communicate progress.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.


Necessary Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT support, system administration, and software development within a similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
  • Experience in cloud administration on platforms like Azure and AWS.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, Flask) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, SharePoint).
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server) and proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles; familiarity with Cisco CLI.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick adaptation to new challenges and technologies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling productive collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are advantageous.
