Senior Transmission Planning Engineer

Are you a seasoned engineer with a drive for maintaining the reliability and safety of high-voltage transmission networks? We have an excellent role for a Senior Engineer in Transmission Planning to join our client's innovative team. This position involves managing multiple projects, performing advanced transmission studies, and staying ahead of industry trends. This is a Hybrid position requiring 1 day a week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop long-term strategies for transmission and promote investments in new infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations (FERC, NERC, WECC, ACC).
• Perform technical studies using simulation tools like GE PSLF and CAPE to plan the expansion of the transmission network.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related applied science field from an accredited institution.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in engineering roles.
• Skilled in power flow, transient stability, and short circuit studies, with knowledge of software such as GE PSLF, Siemens CAPE, and ASPEN.
