Our government client is looking for a Senior VOIP Engineer to join their team.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Senior VOIP Engineer:
Design, implement, and maintain VoIP and VTC systems to ensure seamless communication across the organization
Gather requirements, assess needs, and develop solutions that align with business objectives
Configure and troubleshoot VoIP and VTC hardware and software components
Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues
Integrate VoIP and VTC systems with existing network infrastructure and communication tools
Implement security measures to safeguard VoIP and VTC systems against unauthorized access and cyber threats
Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues promptly
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in VoIP and VTC technologies
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps
Create and maintain knowledgebase articles for use in troubleshooting and resolving common issues
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and system maintenance
Requirements of the Senior VOIP Engineer:
At least 6 years of related experience managing Voice networks, possessing advanced skills and knowledge in VOIP
Must have experience managing and integrating Voice services with WebEx and other VTC technologies
Experience working with and configuring Polycom Virtual Servers and Endpoints
Experience in planning, deploying, and managing VoIP and VTC systems in enterprise environments
Experience with security practices and tools for securing VoIP and VTC systems
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VoIP and VTC hardware and software components
Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and VTC technologies
Knowledge of Cisco call manager and Cisco Unity VM
Knowledge of network concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, and routing
Must have a CompTIA Network+ or relevant networking certifications
Must have a Cisco CCNA Collaboration certification
Should have relevant vendor-specific VoIP or VTC certifications
