Summary:

Goldbelt Taku is seeking a skilled Server Administrator to oversee the maintenance of our Microsoft 365 GCC environment, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC standards, and providing exceptional end-user support. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical skills and a strong understanding of IT administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain Microsoft 365 GCC Environment: Manage and maintain all aspects of our Microsoft 365 GCC environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other related services.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC standards by implementing necessary controls, conducting regular audits, and maintaining documentation.
  • End User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users, including assistance with Microsoft 365 applications, hardware issues, and network connectivity problems.
  • IT Administrative Tasks: Perform various IT administrative tasks, such as user account management, software installations, hardware inventory management, and system updates.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and systems, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data loss.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to address technical issues and implement solutions. Communicate effectively with end users to provide updates and gather feedback.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in managing Microsoft 365 GCC environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related services.
  • Knowledge of security measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Understanding of security best practices in a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-171 and CMMC standards.
  • Previous experience implementing and maintaining controls to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to conduct regular audits and maintain documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills for assisting end users with technical issues.
  • Proficiency in software installations, hardware inventory management, and system updates.
  • Attention to detail in performing various IT administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with tools and procedures to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or data loss.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other IT team members and departments.
  • Team player mindset with a focus on addressing technical issues collaboratively.
  • Ability to speak fluent English with strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 -2 years of work experience.
  • Experience aiding with Microsoft 365 applications, resolving hardware issues, and addressing network connectivity problems.
  • Experience in user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Background in developing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Tier-3 / National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) background investigation in accordance with DODI 5200.02-DoD Personnel Security Program (PSP).
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience developing C# / .NET solutions with at least 5 years of experience supporting DoD or Federal projects.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and the cloud ecosystem.
  • Security+ CE or any DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher approved certification
  • Experience operating and maintaining systems in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting within a security environment.
  • Experience with backup and restore procedures.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 per year.
