CloudFit Software is looking for a qualified Microsoft 365 Collaboration Engineer with expertise in SharePoint/SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. This role is perfect for you if you thrive working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the security and availability of solutions. You should be comfortable working with new technologies and agile deployment cycles. You will interact with multiple customers and development teams regularly and attend daily standups and engineering reviews.


Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end ownership of SharePoint/SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive from requirements gathering through deployment and operations.
  • Participate in regular engineering-related meetings and customer reviews.
  • Apply software, system administration, security, and network management best practices.
  • Drive the use of automation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for production support when required.
  • Feel comfortable context-switching as plans adjust to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Travel to support customers in air-gapped environments as required.


Required Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Collaboration Engineer with expertise in SharePoint/SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Demonstrated experience in modernizing legacy solutions and migrating from 3rd party applications like InfoPath and Nintex to Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.
  • Experience using migration tools such as Sharegate or similar third-party products.
  • Strong proficiency in SharePoint Online administration, configuration, and customization.
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, services, and deployment models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services and integration with SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and quickly learn new concepts.
  • Expertise in tenant-to-tenant migrations within Microsoft 365 sovereign clouds (e.g., GCC High, GCC, DoD).
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance features and their integration with SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.


Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain (US Citizenship required)


The salary range for this role is $100 – $175k + benefits & perks.


Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would apply to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and location. Also, the range represents salary only and does not include our total rewards package.
