Onsite/3rd Shift
Purpose of Role: Using a crane, skillfully load parts from IBTs onto skips, ensuring precise orientation as per Manufacturing Instruction and work instructions. Shotblast Operator responsibility includes identifying and quarantining parts needing weld repair. The Shotblast machine operator is responsible for removing and quarantining parts that require weld repair. The Shotblast Machine Operator may be asked to perform other jobs within or outside of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Crane Operation: Safely maneuver loads, including ladles of molten metal, through melting and pouring bays, using crane sirens to alert personnel.
- Material Handling: Weigh scrap for furnace charging and transport ladles of hot metal within melting and pouring areas.
- Precision Operations: Utilize remote controls to position ladles of hot metal precisely over molds.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in initiatives for safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship to enhance workplace standards and operational effectiveness.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- Experience: None
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office applications and other Window’s based programs
- Good reading, writing, mathematical, and verbal skills
