Software Analyst

Belkin · Burden · Goldman, LLP ("BBG"), a premier New York City real estate law firm with headquarters in midtown Manhattan, is seeking a highly motivated Network Analyst that will report to the Director of Information Technology. This is an ideal position for an ambitious technology guru who has a foundation of IT experience and really wants to exposure to all facets of a sophisticated IT department. The ideal candidate will have an incredibly strong work ethic who is ready to wear multiple hats and takes pride in making positive change on a daily basis. The position will be an on-site role at our office in mid-town Manhattan across from Grand Central Station (i.e., great commuting location).

Job Responsibilities:


  • iManage Work 10 Installation & Support: Provide installation, support, and user management for iManage Work 10.
  • Desktop Support: Offer comprehensive desktop support for hardware and software, ensuring smooth operations in a high-pressure legal environment.
  • Office 365 Admin Center Management: Maintain and configure Office 365 Admin Center, including Email, One Drive, and Teams.
  • Intune MDM Configuration: Build and deploy Intune MDM configurations for Apple iPhones and Windows laptops.
  • Conference Room & A/V Support: Support conference rooms, audio-visual equipment, and platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Legal Application Administration: Administer and support legal applications such as iManage, Litera, Kofax Power PDF, and others.
  • E-Discovery Searches: Enable, create, and set up Microsoft E-discovery searches in the Compliance Portal.
  • System Optimization: Streamline and optimize the latest systems, analyzing processes for potential upgrades.
  • System & Network Maintenance: Configure, test, repair, replace, and relocate systems and network components as necessary.
  • Project Development: Incorporate and improve computer systems with the latest technologies for project development.
  • Ongoing System Evaluation: Ensure updates, upgrades, virus protection, and security are maintained through continuous system evaluation.
  • Status Reporting: Create bi-weekly status reports updating the status of deployments.
  • Knowledge Base Documentation: Document and distribute information within the knowledge base system regarding critical or unusual problems encountered.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a technical liaison between business end users and external vendors.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in network analysis, desktop support, and legal application administration.
  • Strong knowledge of iManage Work 10, Office 365 Admin Center, and Intune MDM.
  • Proficiency with Mimecast Cloud based e-mail management for MS Exchange, Office 365 including security, archiving and continuity.
  • Proficiency in supporting audio-visual equipment and platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with legal applications like iManage, Litera, and Kofax Power PDF.
  • Experience with Microsoft E-discovery searches and compliance portals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a technical liaison.
  • Ability to perform gap analysis and document critical issues effectively.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


Compensation & Benefits:

In addition to the competitive salary and full benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Time Off, Etc.), we offer a performance-based bonus at the end of the year.


The compensation will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to years of experience involving these roles and responsibilities, years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
