Eaze is a cannabis software platform and marketplace that connects adult consumers with licensed dispensaries and products. Eaze uses a sophisticated logistics and technology platform to provide fast delivery of a broad variety of cannabis products across California and Michigan. We are on a mission to enhance safe access to legal cannabis, educate people about cannabis as a tool for wellness, and drive smart cannabis policies.

Summary

We are looking to add a Software Engineer to join our Operational Technologies team, focused on back-end systems, delivery optimizations, and dispensary tools. At Eaze, you will work with a caring and empathetic team of engineers representing a wide range of backgrounds and strengths. This is a remote position as part of a fully distributed engineering organization.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

As a Software Engineer at Eaze, you are trusted to apply your technical experience to solve difficult problems in a new and rapidly evolving industry. In this position, you will be joining the team that owns our delivery and order fulfillment technologies. Your work will regularly have a direct and major impact on how our customers experience Eaze services and how our internal teams optimize the ordering experience. Our technology stack is varied. Our central API is a large monolith written in C# running on the .NET 6 CLR on Linux servers. This central API interacts with an array of microservices written in Node, and even some Rust. An engineer applying to this role should be experienced in C# and .NET APIs. Knowledge of React, Node.js, Angular.js, Rust, Sentry, and Cloudwatch are major advantage for this role. The role of this team is to own and improve our business-critical order fulfillment systems both from the customer and internal tools perspective.

Our engineering organization is fully distributed all across the United States! This is a fully remote position, with one exception; if you live within 25 miles of one of our fulfillment centers or offices, we ask that you visit once a month to meet with the operations team, build camaraderie, and see first-hand how Eaze operates.
