The client's mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data. Through our Reverse ETL platform, business and data users can seamlessly sync data from its source such as warehouses and databases to where it's needed, including operational systems and SaaS tools. Traditionally, acting on data has required significant engineering time and resources, leaving many business users reliant on static charts and reports without the ability to automate actions based on their data. Every business user can now activate data to streamline critical processes, enhance marketing performance, and scale operations all achieved without the need for coding.

Role Description

First Machine Learning Engineer as we expand our data activation products to include an intelligence layer. Currently, hundreds of companies use our platform to sync data into their SaaS systems, automating and improving operations. However, there's significant untapped potential in helping companies determine which customers to message, what content to include in messages, and when to send them. Much of this decision-making currently relies on manual intuition and guesswork. We believe that integrating machine learning could significantly enhance outcomes for our customers. Leveraging our access to data warehouses and databases, we are well-positioned to harness a company's customer data and build a robust intelligence layer.

Role Responsibilities

• Personalization and Product Recommendation: There are often many options for what content a company could message a user with, including which products to show from catalogues. Given this large state space, how can help personalize messages with the most relevant content for each user?
• Automated Experimentation: Helping companies intelligently navigate and automate experiments across the extensive number of options for messaging customers.
• Predictive Audiences: Building models to predict which users are most likely to convert, churn, or take desired actions.
• Content Generation: Particularly with recent advances in LLMs, how can we help marketers generate text, images, and creative that are compelling to their customers?
• Budget Optimization: Helping companies assess which marketing spend is driving the most incremental conversions, and where the marginal CAC is lowest.
