In this role, you'll act as a crucial link between our help desk and senior engineering teams, providing expert troubleshooting for software-related issues. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the escalation point for the help desk team, troubleshooting software solutions deployed at client locations across the country
Collaborate with help desk and software engineering teams to communicate complex issues and find effective solutions
Conduct root cause analysis and identify trends in system issues
Diagnose and resolve issues related to marketing content delivery, using tools like RabbitMQ, rsync, etc.
Troubleshoot network connectivity problems using network analyzer tools (Ping)
Investigate hardware-related issues, including barcode scanners, printers, and video/audio displays
Learn and adapt to our technical environment, which includes embedded Linux, Python, C++, Bash, scripting, and JavaScript
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, IT, or equivalent experience
Experience in troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving
Eagerness to learn new technologies (Python, Linux, C++, scripting, databases)
Proficiency in a Linux environment, programming languages, and databases is highly desired
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
