Leap29 are searching for a Solar Project Developer to join an established company in the Northeast.


Location NJ, PA, DE.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead project development activities: site control, permitting, electrical interconnection, and engineering.
  • Coordinate internal and external subject matter experts for real estate, permitting, electrical interconnection, and engineering.
  • Own project inputs/assumptions, coordinating updates with internal groups.
  • Manage project progress, risks, opportunities, and economics, providing thoughtful analysis and risk evaluation.
  • Manage or support due diligence activities for acquisitions.
  • Negotiate lease/purchase options and agreements for site control.
  • Coordinate engineering activities for permits and interconnection matters.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to support design and EPC processes.
  • Identify and track key development tasks, managing budgets for each project.


Requirements:

  • Record of academic and professional achievement.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate well with a small team.
  • Proven organizational acumen working on multiple projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • 2-5 years of experience in energy or renewables.
