What We Need…
As a Solutions Architect at COCC you will hold a key position in shaping and delivering cutting-edge IT solutions. Reporting directly to the Head of Professional IT Services, you will provide technical leadership, contribute to architecture and design, engage with clients, troubleshoot complex issues, mentor, and train team members, participate in research and development, ensure quality assurance, maintain documentation, contribute to strategic planning, manage vendors, stay abreast of new products, and act as a Sales Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).

What You’ll Do…
Provide technical leadership to guide the development and implementation of innovative and effective IT solutions.
Contribute to the architecture and design of IT solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and industry best practices.
Engage directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, provide expert advice, and contribute to building strong client relationships.
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues and ensure the stability of implemented solutions.
Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Stay current with industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and contribute to research and development initiatives.
Ensure the quality and reliability of IT solutions through thorough testing and quality assurance practices.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all implemented solutions.
Contribute to strategic planning, aligning technical initiatives with overall business objectives.
Manage relationships with vendors, evaluate products, and negotiate agreements to ensure optimal performance.
Stay informed about new products and technologies, evaluating their potential for integration into existing solutions.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in technical discussions during the sales process, supporting the sales team in presenting technical aspects to clients.
What You’ll Bring…
Technical Proficiencies:
Operating Systems: Proficient in Windows OS, Linux.
Virtualization: VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, VDI.
Networking: Cisco, Meraki, HP, SD-WAN.
Scripting: PowerShell, Linux
Monitoring Tools: LogicMonitor and/or Grafana a plus.
Cloud Technologies: Azure, AWS.
RMM Products: Proficient in the use of Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
MSP Technologies: Familiarity with MSP tools and technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role.
Strong technical proficiency in relevant technologies and platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership qualities and the ability to guide and inspire a technical team.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends.
The salary range for this position is $130000-170000/annually
