About This Role
This position is for a seasoned professional in Manufacturing Operations, who works independently, monitors manufacturing operations by analyzing cell performance and productivity. Coordinates scheduling activities and sequencing of work. Works across operations disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads medium size programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility and recommends appropriate adjustments.
- Manages important suppliers and develops milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs.
- Consolidates and presents plans and progress reports.
- Prepares and presents value-stream strategy, progress, and results.
- Supports annual strategic planning efforts for the business.
- Guides continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Identifies and reacts to program problems and supports solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing contractual specifications.
- Coordinates responses to customer action items.
- Must be willing to travel between 25%-50% nationally and internationally
- Bachelors’ Degree
- 4+ years program/project management, manufacturing, operations, and/or supply chain experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.
- Ability to influence, collaborate and work across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
- High degree of independence
- Problem solving attitude with focus on teamwork
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Office, PowerPoint)
- Engage with program team daily and provide solutions to potential risks
- Relentless drive to overachieve, outstanding team player, strategic vision with ability to execute
- Ability to work on complex problems in an ambiguous environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Power BI, JDE (SAP support) systems.
