SQL/Data Warehouse Developer

Job Summary

The Information Systems Team is looking for an enthusiastic SQL/Data Warehouse Developer who will be responsible for ensuring our data is in synch between systems, data is always up-to-date, performance of databases, overall data management and analysis of the data across a variety of internal systems.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of high-quality Database Solutions
  • Develop, implement, and optimize Stored Procedures
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
  • Utilize advanced querying techniques with data warehouse and cubes.
  • Attend meetings as needed to elicit information needs and ensure appropriate interpretations.
  • Conduct detailed audits, quality reviews, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Develop processes and reports that can be turned over to end-users control whenever possible.
  • Manage file transfers between systems.
  • Review error reports for the data warehouse loads and other file transfers and interfaces, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Analyze systems and suggest changes for the purpose of enhancing reporting.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the manager.

Education And Experience

Education

Required : BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Programming or equivalent

Type Of Experience

Required : 1-2+ years of SQL development experience

Preferred : Healthcare experience in Medicaid/Medicare, HEDIS, Risk Score, Encounters, etc.

Specific Technical Skills

Required : Use of SQL, ETL Tools, Stored Procedures, APIs, Jason, XML, X12, FHIR, .NET, Proficiency with MS applications

Preferred : MuleSoft

Knowledge And Skills

Required:

  • Effective presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to participate in meetings with all levels of management within the organization
  • Detail oriented, excellent follow-up
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be service-oriented, quick learner, and team player
  • Appreciation of cultural diversity
