SQL Server DBA FACETS

Actively searching for a Senior SQL Server DBA with FACETS EXPERIENCE, for our direct client located Wash D.C. Seeking remote candidates located on the East coast. Candidates will be required to provide after hours support.

REMOTE - must be located in Wash DC, VA or MD

Purpose

The SQL Server DBA WITH FACETS EXP. will Design, implement, and maintain databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods. Perform activities related to the day-to-day administration and maintenance of transactional databases, ensuring that the database is available, performing properly, and safe. Perform complex installations, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and configuration. Confer with appropriate managers regarding problems with and capabilities of databases.

Job Requirement

• Healthcare DBA experience working with FACETS
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and similar databases, Expert
• Ability to communicate effectively with analysts, developers, tests, and project managers in both oral and written form
• Ability to work minimal supervision.
• High-level of analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SL)
