Title: SQL Server DBA with AWS

Duration: 6-12 Months

Location: Remote Position


NO C2C, Only W2!!


  • 8+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA along with AWS cloud technology
  • Install, configure and maintain SQL Server database servers and processes
  • Monitor systems health and performance
  • Ensure high level of performance, availability, sustainability and security
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Experience optimizing queries and database objects, including advanced skills in index design and maintenance
  • Experience with SQL Server Service Broker, SQL Server in a Windows Cluster environment, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups
  • Experience with encryption including TDE and Always Encrypted
  • Provide support for critical production systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server (including AlwaysOn)
  • Experience with Windows server
  • Must have experience with SQL scripting
  • Must have experience with on-prem to AWS cloud migration, have deep knowledge on DB migrations to AWS EC2 and RDS instances
  • Strong technical background with a proven track record in managing and delivering IT projects
  • Experience supporting enterprise level production systems in a fast-paced, high availability server environment
  • Good communication and customer interfacing skills
  • Experience leading offshore team is highly preferred
