Sr. Field Engineering Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a full-time Sr. Field Engineering Manager to work onsite in Seattle, WA. The Senior Field Engineering Manager oversees a team responsible for delivering new product introductions (NPIs) to key customers. This involves managing the qualification lifecycle, customer relations, and team leadership. They coordinate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, ensure compliance, and continuously improve processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to build positive relationships. Responsibilities:

• Serves as the primary liaison for the field engineering organization regarding New Product Introduction (NPI) functions related to customer projects. Builds and leads a team of engineers dedicated to delivering NPIs. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, design, and program management, to effectively execute NPI projects for customers.
• Identifies and consistently applies the most efficient and cost-effective business practices for process execution, continuously assessing their suitability and impact.
• Demonstrates independent judgment in planning and organizing work activities, overseeing performance, and providing regular status updates to senior management.
• Handles troubleshooting of complex problems and issues as they arise during NPI projects.
• Ensures employee adherence to Company policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of delivering NPIs to large customers in the computer hardware manufacturing space
• Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive customer facing experience.
• Strong experience working with Suppliers.

Compensation/Benefits: $150,000-$220,000 base salary
