Sr. Instructional Design Specialist
Purpose
Pivotal in developing, implementing, and evolving comprehensive training materials and sales enhancement tools. This role demands a strategic outlook toward building a cohesive and impactful Sales Training curriculum that covers a broad spectrum including leadership, management, sales systems, customer service, and compliance, with a keen eye on future trends and technologies
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design and lead the creation of engaging training materials across various formats such as instructor-led (ILT), virtual instructor-led (VILT), eLearning, and print, utilizing advanced content authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other relevant technologies
Innovate and refine sales and sales management tools to maintain competitive advantage and alignment with business goals
Conduct thorough evaluations of training programs and materials to ensure they meet the changing needs of the organization and the industry standards
Develop strategic plans for the learning and development department, including resource allocation
Mentor and guide a team of Instructional Designers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth
Oversee the achievement of departmental performance goals
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization using a variety of methods, ensuring clarity and professional rapport
Qualifications and Education Requirements
5+ years of experience in instructional design, with a proven track record of leading successful training projects
Expertise in Articulate Storyline or equivalent content authoring software
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken English
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Reliable internet connection for remote work scenarios
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Spanish preferred
Degree in Learning Technologies, Instructional Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
Leadership experience in instructional design or educational project management
