Sr Manager, IT Infrastructure

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure works closely with the Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations, IT Leadership and other key business stakeholders in identifying and implementing cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the business. This hands-on leadership role provides day-to-day management of the global IT infrastructure team and supporting systems to include software, hardware, and networks. Responsible for user experience and support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading IT infrastructure projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments, and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management.

• Implements and administers infrastructure-related policies and strategic goals for the IT department.
• Manages IT infrastructure support services for multiple locations as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications.
• Manages CECO’s systems and network infrastructure ensuring highly reliable and cost-effective solutions.
• Hires, trains, develops , and appraises IT infrastructure staff effectively.
• Manages CECO’s infrastructure landscape, both on-premises and clou d according to ITIL best practices and ensur es that CECO business partners are utilizing reliable and state-of-the-art technology.
• Manages infrastructure compliance with the global laws and applicable regulations including GDPR, SOX, and CMMC utilizing standard frameworks .
• Responsible for maintaining adherence to infrastructure-related hardware and software licensing agreements.
• Investigates and provides feedback on new products and procedures to streamline IT infrastructure operations and enhance CECO’s technology landscape to further its strategic plan.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS preferred .
• Minimum of 8 years in Information Technology and at least 3 years’ experience in a management role with direct reports.
• Strong background in on-premise infrastructure and networking, with recent experience in Cloud (Azure preferred) computing and infrastructure concepts. On-premise to Cloud migration experience preferred.
• 5 or more years of related experience at publicly traded manufacturing company; preferred
• Demonstrated capability to conceptualize, analyze, and solve technical and business challenges.
• A team player and effective communicator who can build consensus.
• Must demonstrate excellent presentation, communication, writing and facilitation skills.
• Experience with IT infrastructure in manufacturing environments a plus.
• Possesses a combination of good process, conceptual, business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Licensing/Certifications

• ITIL and technical/ infrastructure certifications a plus , Azure cloud and cybersecurity certifications preferred
