As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for addressing emergency maintenance issues throughout all work stream operations with the goal of achieving scheduled daily production levels. This position will also be in charge of on time completion of assigned PM's along with general WO requests including repairs, modifications, and fabrication projects.
a Day In The Life
Make repairs or adjustments as instructed by a work order or verbal request by management on all production process equipment and anything supporting production. Support daily manufacturing, filling, and packaging operations thru by making repairs to enhance operations OEE. Fix electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as required. Complete preventative maintenance and general repair work orders as scheduled. Fabricate minor replacement/repair parts as needed within maintenance machining/welding shop. Assists in analyzing and correcting problems encountered during Maintenance work to ensure work is performed according to SOP's. Daily communications with Maintenance Team Lead regarding shift-to-shift transfer information for downtime or any significant information. Connect with supervisor/engineering regarding equipment condition and provide recommendations for improved reliability plan. Work with engineering department to develop capital equipment needs and support new equipment installations. Ability to install and calibrate temperature controllers/recorders. Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled work hours, working additional overtime as needed. Report any actual or potential safety hazards to management.

Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years applicable work experience.
- Experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, industrial automation, and controls technology.
- Strong mechanical skills including the ability to perform mechanical disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of complicated equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial control wiring systems.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with equipment operators.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Welding/Machining/Fabrication proficiency.
- Process automation control experience.
- Proficient in electrical, electronics and controls technologies.
- Powered industrial equipment operation training.
- Training and experience with safety programs such as lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space, and elevated work.
- Strong computer skills to use Microsoft Office, corporate applications, and maintenance work order software system.
- Standing for up to 6 hours at a time, up to 12 hours a day, with frequent squatting, stooping, kneeling, bending, twisting at waist, and climbing ladders.
- Possess the abilities to perform the physical requirements of the assigned job as identified by the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Maneuver up and down ladders.
- Clean room gowning will often be required.
- Ensure safety of employees and follow all health and safety policies/guidelines.
