Sr. Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop appropriate plans, business processes, and metrics in line with business objectives balancing partner needs including cost, complexity and high service levels.
• Negotiate and implement agreements that enhance cost savings, improve service levels, mitigate contractual risks, optimize asset utilization, and build/improve overall value for Innospec.
• Guide strategies to focus on data driven analysis, thorough quantitative and qualitative decision frameworks and consider cross-functional impacts to various collaborators.
• Develop strong working relationships with suppliers and relevant internal teams to drive sourcing strategies that lower cost and risk to Innospec.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance, quality, and delivery to ensure compliance and identify means to improve results.
• Provide high quality communication to senior management and for periodic and ad-hoc reporting on current operations and market changes, emerging risks and actionable mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement/Supply-Chain, Finance or another business-related field, master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of related experience inclusive of 7+ years experience in managing supply chain/sourcing activities, including strategy development, procurement, quality management, inventory management, and distribution.
• Chemical raw material sourcing is required.
• 5+ years management experience in progressively challenging sourcing roles.
• Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data to make informed decisions and take action.
• Must be able to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement business process and strategies.
• Proven track record of building and leading successful teams.
• Significant experience in all aspects of sourcing/procurement lifecycle.
• Clear understanding of market trends and opportunities, including new technologies.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Other Requirements:

• Travel less than 10% (Domestic & International)
