Your role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Sr. Product Manager to join our team, focused on identifying and evaluating breakthrough opportunities in the field of biology. This role is crucial in identifying areas of focus, conducting technology gap analysis, and understanding market trends to drive new breakthrough technologies through the Product Development Process (PDP). The Sr. Product Manager will work closely with the Head of Biology, Innovation, Strategy, and Portfolio Management along with other innovation and strategy stakeholders and groups to identify and create a compelling breakthrough technology portfolio for our business units and communicate opportunities and risks to business and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will be able to lead products through a Product Development Process delivering high valued products to customers.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field; 3+ years of product management experience or equivalent experience launching product in a complex highly matrixed environment preferred. Proven track record of successfully managing products from concept to commercialization. Strong understanding of biological sciences, including molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, and related markets and fields. Extensive experience in strategic analysis, technology evaluation, and market research within the biological sciences field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D.) preferred.  5+ years of product management experience or equivalent experience launching product in a complex highly matrixed environment preferred. Proven ability to build compelling business cases and present them effectively to senior management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Strong capabilities in financial modeling and economic impact analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in conducting competitor landscaping and developing blue ocean strategies. Extensive technical knowledge as it relates to R&D, development, production, SAP material master, and change management.
