REMOTE Role

Job Summary

Technical Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals.

Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our client's IT positions.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with account managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.

Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.

Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.

Source potential candidates on niche platforms such as; Stack Overflow and Github

Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities

Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)

Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates

Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals

Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products

Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.

Provides advice to account managers regarding expected salaries and negotiations with candidates.

Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.

Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements And Skills

Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter

Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Zoom and structured)

Thorough understanding of technogy with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Ceipal and resume databases such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder and LinkedIn RPS.

Extensive experience writing Boolean search strings

Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree or industry related experience required

At least three years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles are a must.

Industry credentials such as AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) preferred.
