Structural Design Intern

About the Position:

The Designer will work under Structural Project Managers and Engineers. Projects include small and large residential and commercial/retail buildings, as well as structural renovations.

 Responsibilities include administrative tasks, modeling, drafting, basic structural calculations, and construction administrative support for projects consisting of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry materials.

 Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university ABET accredited engineering program and working towards a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Relevant course studies preferred include the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry.

Experience using Microsoft Office applications and Revit is required. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus. Experience with RISA 3D, Ram Structural System and other analysis software is preferred. FE is preferred. Ideal candidate must have good organizational and communication skills.
