We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor (Live In) to join our team at the North Brunswick Senior Housing community.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and repair operations of the North Brunswick Senior Housing community. This role is essential to ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
  • Manage work orders and ensure timely completion of all maintenance requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate with property management to address resident concerns and improve the overall living environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Boiler experience and black seal license a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
