Responsibilities
As a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor, this position will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers (HVAC contractors, Dealers, internal associates, etc.)
Supervise and assign tasks to Warehouse Associates based on business need and customer priority
Supervises the performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition and storage of materials, supplies and equipment into and from warehouse
Coordinates product flow within current location and the region
Improves workflow processes to increase productivity, ensures work force safety and manages warehouse inventory
Supervise/coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, picking and staging of OB shipments
Verify IB/OB paperwork with drivers
Ensure IB/OB shipments are accurate and free of damage
Maintain discipline in use of forklifts (maintenance, speed control etc.) along with safety of all equipment
Maintain safety focused environment and encourage “zero recordable incident/time loss”
Provide mentorship and talent development for Warehouse Associates
Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required. College degree is preferred
Experienced forklift operator/warehouse shipping and professional, with at least 2-3 years supervisory experience
Successful candidate will be proficient in basic PC skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Able to operate RF Scanning equipment as well as function in a Bin pick environment
Strong creative problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent judgment and initiative and ability to work as hands on supervisor
Excellent relationship building skills must be a team builder as well as a team player
Must work well under pressure as a self-starter with the ability to multitask.
