About The Role

We are seeking a driven Supply Chain Program Manager with a specialized emphasis on Demand Planning and Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) to join our team. This role is pivotal in spearheading the design and implementation of sophisticated supply chain systems to optimize demand forecasting, inventory management, and operational planning processes.

What You'll Do

  • Drive execution of production requirements, and plans for both New Project Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining Product material pipeline.
  • Ensure risk mitigation actions are identified and in place to ensure successful deliveries and attainment to cost targets.
  • Develop and maintain supplier performance measures; collect and communicate key metrics to the broader organization and host regular business reviews with partners.
  • Develop a robust process to track progress of cost optimization and negotiate cost BOM and MVA during NPI phase gates and after MP on a regular cadence.
  • Lead NPI materials process improvement and be the liaison of NPI and S&OP processes of assigned projects.
  • Responsible for supply planning with good understanding of demand signals and collaborating with a cross-functional team to assure adequate inventory coverage for business growth.
  • Lead the strategic design, development, and implementation of demand planning and SIOP systems to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to gather demand forecasts, assess market trends, and align production plans with business objectives.
  • Utilize advanced statistical modeling techniques and demand sensing algorithms to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness to changing market dynamics.
  • Drive the SIOP process, facilitating regular meetings to review demand forecasts, assess supply chain performance, and make informed decisions to balance supply and demand.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance metrics and track progress against targets.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective execution of demand planning and SIOP strategies, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in demand planning and SIOP to drive innovation and enhance competitive advantage.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning and program management, with a proven track record of success in demand planning and SIOP.
  • 5+ years in the Hardware space, or a mix of Hardware + Software space strongly preferred. Automotive, Electronics, or Telematics industries a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, for both NPI and mass produced products
  • Experience managing JDM/ODM/EMS suppliers, as well as negotiating pricing and supply agreements
  • Strong navigation of ERP system and tools
  • Highly analytical, sensitive to numbers / data, strong critical thinking, high sense of ownership
  • Ability to program manage tasks, open items, and attain to due dates
  • Supply chain planning experience on the commercial side, high volume in similar industry as Motive preferred (but open to other industries such as medical devices, physical/video security solution tools, routers/switches etc.)
  • Expertise in demand forecasting methodologies, statistical modeling techniques, and inventory optimization strategies. Modeling abilities.
  • Proficent in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros and VBA, Data Validation)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Must reside in USA (ideally Western part of USA)

Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The Base Compensation Range For This Role Is

$76,000—$122,000 USD
