ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and assist in receiving small parcel trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Maintains supply inventory; verifies inventory levels through Cycle and Physical Counts.
• Orders, receives, and stores supplies in supply warehouse.
• Inspect and verify supplies received against invoices and packing slips; initiates requests for vendor corrections.
• Verifies and confirms suggested P.O.’s through the current CMMS system for stocked supplies.
• Verifies pricing on all requests for supplies through each approved provider.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and maintains a positive rapport.
• Promotes continuous improvement for workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Ensuring supply warehouse is accessible and safe.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Supervises and performs clerical duties related to maintains stocked inventories and storeroom.
• Supervises, leads, guides and trains employees.
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to the designated areas within Supply.
• Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, and/or other stock items and distributes to internal customers.
• Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Completing requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, MHE and/or services ordering.
• Knowledge of inventory control.
• Ability to receive, stock, and deliver goods.
• Good understanding of computers and related software applications. ERP systems and CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
• Ability to track and distribute supplies and equipment.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
  
  

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); five years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Good understanding of personal computers.
