Medloop a large multi-specialty medical billing company servicing many clients across the US mostly in NY/NJ is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Surgical Billing Specialist. The Surgical Billing Specialist will be responsible for multiple accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a liaison between patient, insurer, and practice
Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer service focus
Create reports for customers
Processing appeals
Analyze, research and resolve denials
Investigate and resolve insurance recoupments
Performs other related duties as assigned
Key Skills/Experience
6+ years Surgery Billing experience required
OON experience required
Multi State Billing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of collection practices and laws
Detail oriented and organized
Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software

Pay rate is based on candidate’s Medical Billing work experience - specifically with Surgery Billing; key skills, training, as well as industry and organization considerations when extending an offer.
