SVP, Chief Information Officer
The CIO is responsible for working with business leaders to ensure the creation of value for the business, establishing the global IT vision and strategy, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and appropriately managing risk. The CIO oversees the global IT leadership team activities, which are focused on initiatives designed to create opportunities that provide value to the business as well as ensuring an appropriate operating model that consistently provides reliable core services. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

IT platforms will need to evolve and change to support the growth and developments in our business. Creating roadmaps will be critical, and these roadmaps must adequately capture key business and technology trends.Accordingly, the CIO will focus on the following areas.
Pay Disclaimer:
The base pay range for this opportunity is $325,000 - $400,000 per year. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include a profit share bonus, employee stock purchase plan, a flexible paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.

To be considered for CIO, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred
- Ten years of relevant experience, with a minimum five years of executive or senior management experience
- Strong leadership skills and exceptional strategic influence ability
- Demonstrated success in identifying and capturing value from ERP and other significant technology deployments
- Significant experience overseeing complex projects
- Ensure that the global IT function delivers value to the business.The function will deliver value in the following ways.
- Partner with business leaders to leverage technology solutions and develop processes that optimize business results.
- Reshape the IT operating model and how the function develops talent and allocates resources, manages suppliers and partners with internal customers.
- Provide timely and relevant information to improve operational decision making
- Maximize the efficiency of foundational platforms, infrastructure, and operations, while shifting resources towards support of business differentiation
- Monitor and interpret technology and business trends, allowing the function to provide appropriate solutions for the business in a dynamic environment.
- Increase the maturity of the global IT function, moving towards a position in which it is seen as a key enabler of the business.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining policies and procedures that are in accordance with various regulations. These policies and procedures must meet ever-changing and increasingly complex company, statutory and contractual requirements. The CIO is also responsible for ensuring controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.
- Responsible for assessing risk from an IT perspective, proactively managing that risk, and executing remediation actions. IT areas of risk include cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity.
