Systems Engineer with our financial client in Lake Mary, FL or in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12 month contract, potential for contract to hire and/or a contract extension. Please expect to work onsite 2 to 3x per week.

  • Executing Hardware design for On-prem infrastructure and private cloud in accordance with organization roadmap
  • Capturing hardware requirements, analyze and develop detailed design
  • Delivering design artefacts in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Working with other disciplines within an integrated engineering team:
  • Consult on system designs and support as a server hardware technical expert.
  • Engineering escalation contact for fault analysis based on criticality and impact to business.
  • Provide guidance and consultancy on capacity , performance and system monitoring reviews
  • Firmware Images packaging , testing and deployments
  • Hardware configuration management and compliance
  • Server hardware, firmware and management tools life-cycling planning

  • UCS/UCS-X
