As the System Integration Manager, you will lead a small, internal team and consultants who design, build and maintain integration solutions, data warehouses and custom software applications for the firm’s needs. This technical role will work with different stakeholders to comprehend requirements, determine technical solutions and ensure project success, as well as being responsible for establishing best practices and building solutions for data management, data movement, reporting and automation.
Schneider Downs has embraced the hybrid work model, so this role will have flexibility working from home, as well as in the office.
What You’ll Do
Develop application integrations to share data, improve business processes and create efficiencies
Install, configure and maintain database servers and their functions
Design, create, manage and monitor database structures in different environments such as development, testing and production
Management of staff, consultants and vendor relationships to coordinate projects, documentation and workloads
Customize internal systems/applications to include but not limited to the Practice Management system, HR Information systems, the Client Contracting system and other various applications
Create and manage a data warehouse from the transactional business applications
Ensure data flow and structure for all internal systems to feed the data warehouse allowing for integration of systems
Communicate regularly with internal department heads to understand their vision for their departments and the firm in general
Take ownership of development tools to handle DevOps and manage projects
Management of support tickets for reporting, SQL servers, ETL processes and integrations
What You’ll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Minimum of five years of experience in software development, applications integration, etc.
Experience with software integrations, APIs and automation
Strong technical expertise in areas such as APIs, SQL, SSIS, ETL, C# and HTML
Experience with business applications/systems, including ERP or related systems
Experience with data warehouses, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and/or Power Platform
Preferred:
Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) and project management tools
Proven project management and software development experience, including leveraging Agile methodologies
Other:
Ability to learn additional software and integration/automation techniques
Flexible and able to multitask on many distinct aspects of a project or on multiple projects
Ability to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements or cost reductions
