Role and Purpose: The Systems Integration Manager's role is to plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to identity management systems and the integration of web-based/ software programs and applications into organizational information systems. The manager will supervise staff to assist and create integrations. The Systems Integration Manager will also manage the operations and maintenance of servers and other system integration components to ensure high levels of availability and security of the core organizational applications.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferred)
Experience
Three (3) years of experience in education.
Experience with access management solutions.
Experience with data analytics reports.
Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS).
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of instructional software applications.
Knowledge of technologies available for use in instructional setting.
Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
Knowledge of LDAP, SAML, Azure and SSO Implementation and operations.
Knowledge and experience in systems integrations, and automation software.
Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Experience with automated software management tools, rostering platforms, and integrations software.
Ability to develop in coordination of application owners to deliver technology training to adult learners.
Ability to organize and coordinate work.
Major Responsibilities And Duties
I. Administration and Fiscal/Facilities Management
Provides leadership for deployment of districtwide technology-based instructional systems as a key component of core instruction.
Coordinate integration efforts with AISD personnel and vendors by keeping track of app level rostering and capturing updates or changes.
Supervise employee(s) in the integration and troubleshooting for connected applications.
Plan, execute and manage the integration of new applications into existing network infrastructure, systems and software throughout the enterprise.
Will augment Systems Integration Specialist to support operational services.
Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of the long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers.
Ensure that existing and any new software integration into the organization systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and other specifications.
Research and make recommendations regarding the integration of products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
Oversee the evaluation, installation, configuration and deployment of new applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to applications throughout the district.
Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
Enhance or improve business processes via integration.
Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, and end users.
Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application, access, and software issues.
Adopt timelines for technology-based instructional systems' application integrations.
Maintain and update document knowledge base for technology-based instructional systems' applications.
Collaborate with other divisions staff to identify, diagnose, and, resolve issues related to districtwide technology-based instructional systems/applications.
Assist in the development of reports and other appropriate forms of communicating implementation metrics.
II. School/Community Relations
Maintain contact with business, industry, and institutions of higher learning concerning technological trends and applications.
Ensure that the goals and objectives of the district are being met.
Participate in the information gathering process as needed across the district.
III. Professional Growth and Development
Seek out and attend Professional Learning opportunities each year and approved by manager.
Seek and accept comments from administrators, department heads and other school personnel to improve services provided.
Meet with other school districts for the purpose of sharing ideas that will improve integration efforts across all areas of the district.
IV. Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Information and Instructional Systems.

Part-Time/Temporary employees will be paid at the minimum hourly rate for the full-time equivalent position's pay range. Variations to this standard as a result of market availability of applicants for a particular position may vary with Human Resources advance review and approval.
