SupplyHouse.com, an innovative e-commerce heating, plumbing, electrical and HVAC supply company, is searching for a highly motivated Talent Management Specialist to join our Talent Management Team within our Human Resources Department!

Come take part in the design and build-out of a new Talent Management function at a scaling e-commerce company! In this role, you’ll get to pioneer as we reinvent our performance process, implement succession planning, and align both to a new suite of career development and pathing tools. Reporting to the Director of Talent Management, this individual will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization by implementing strategic talent management initiatives. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally, influence organizational change, and make a meaningful difference in the lives and careers of our team members.

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin

This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to three times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Remote (Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin)

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET. However, we provide flexibility based on local time zones and our Flex-Time policy.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 (Annually)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end performance reviews, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining a focus on employee growth and development
  • Apply principles of human-centered design and continuous improvement to the performance review process to drive engagement and productivity
  • Provide training and support to managers and employees on the performance review process, fostering a culture of regular feedback and development
  • Champion feedback initiatives to encourage open and constructive conversations among team members and managers
  • Spearhead the creation of robust career pathways and growth frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Implement strategies to identify individuals with high potential within the organization and collaborate with HR and managers to assess performance and potential
  • Utilize various assessment tools and methods to evaluate talent objectively and provide guidance on setting short-term and long-term career goals
  • Identify learning and development opportunities aligned with career aspirations, contributing to succession planning initiatives
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure a pipeline of talent for key roles, designing tailored development plans for high-potential employees
  • Lead talent review sessions to evaluate the performance and potential of key talent, collaborating with stakeholders to calibrate talent and identify development needs
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of organizational design strategies, leading projects at the sub-team level
  • Apply effective change management strategies to support organizational growth and development
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages growth and development amongst team members


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • Proven experience in talent management, performance management, organizational design, or related HR roles
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in HRIS and performance management software
