Job Description

As an Astera Labs Tech Lead Firmware Engineer, you will be designing and developing Firmware for enabling CXL/PCIe technologies for future looking products defined by Astera Labs CXL solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical engineering / Electronics / Computer Science or related fields.
  
  

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in developing Firmware in embedded space or developing device drivers for servers
• Strong problem solving and C programming experience
• Ability to understand Hardware specifications for different technologies and write code
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Good knowledge in PCIe end points at PHY/Link/Transaction levels
• Ability to debug PCIe link issues during server boot
• Pre-silicon validation or bring-up or commercialization of devices is a plus
• CXL. I2C, SPI knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of Server memory or I/O performance is a plus
  
  

The base salary range is $140,000.00 USD – $200,000.00 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
