Title: Technical Lead

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Lead a team of developers/engineers in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Architect and design scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems that meet business needs and requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies within the team.
  • Review code, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects, resolving technical issues and roadblocks as they arise.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development, and make recommendations for their adoption.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with project goals and priorities.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, including product management, quality assurance, and support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role, leading software development teams in the design and implementation of complex software solutions.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development, with hands-on experience in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in software architecture and design principles, with experience in designing scalable and distributed systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and guide team members.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
