Technical Sales Advisor
Description
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their needs and provide expert advice on headers, exhaust systems, and other aftermarket accessories.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads, building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals set by the Sales Manager.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings, including technical specifications and performance benefits of headers, exhaust systems, and other accessories.
- Stay current with industry trends, new products, and competitors to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers before, during, and after the sale.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, car meets, and other events to showcase products and engage with potential customers.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and technical documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions using CRM software.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the automotive industry, with a focus on headers, exhaust systems, and aftermarket accessories.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office, ERP/and or CRM software
- Strong understanding of automotive performance parts and their applications.
- Ability to understand and explain technical specifications and performance data.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certifications or additional training in automotive technology or performance parts a plus
