Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager for a major chemical manufacturer specialising in lubricant specialty chemicals and lubricant raw materials to grow the existing key account portfolio to the next level throughout the Midwest and East Coast.
Responsibilities
Individual will be responsible for managing the specialties sales for an assigned territory/customer base with focus on supporting the Lubricants business (High-Performance & Sustainable Lubricants (Esters) and Corrosion Inhibitor Chemistries and Greases.
This responsibility includes managing the sales and margin generation from the assigned customer base as well as the identification and closing of new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationship on all levels (Purchasing, Technical, and Business Management).
Provide regular forecasts, prepare call reports, provide regular customer updates including NBO tracking, provide customer, market and competitive intelligence, and follow standard policies and procedures including timely reporting.
Qualifications
BA/BS required, with preference in Chemistry or Engineering degree.
4+ years of experience in technical sales of specialty products supporting the lubricant specialty chemical market.
Prior sales/market experience in the lubrication or formulation development industry preferred.

Base salary $140,000-$165,000
