We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team. Based out of our Atlanta, GA office, this individual will support the efforts of the POS and Self-Service ISV Business Development Team in the selection, onboarding, and support of leading POS and self-service software partners. Primary emphasis on North America with responsibility for global partners as strategically applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support on presales and aftersales in US.
- Act as the technical reference for Sunmi software products (Key Injection, MDM, TMS, etc.) in US.
- Design sample applications that interface with various Sunmi SDKs and demonstrate their usage to Sunmi prospects and customers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Participate in technical presentations and training for internal teams and customers on Sunmi products and solutions.
- Provide technical and architectural improvement suggestion for the development, design, integration, testing, and maintenance of our platform and products.
- Perform other related technical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with technical leadership in the payments and/or Retail industry
- 3+ years of experience with hardware & software & electronic engineering
- Good technical knowledge of Android and networking technologies. Knowledge of software security concepts is a plus
- Hands on technical experienced scaling products and services in the payments and/or Retail industry—bonus points for start-up experience!
- Open minded, proactive with ability to thrive in a fast pace environment with high level of autonomy and responsibilities
- Able to anticipate and inform the management on potential risks / deviations, you work very well cross-functionally and are able to think critically and display good judgement.
- Proficient in Chinese is a plus.
