We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Permanent Technical Support Manager/Engineer specializing in Data Center Construction. This role is vital in ensuring the successful construction and operation of our client's data centers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, along with expertise in data center networking and physical infrastructure. This position requires a unique blend of technical acumen and leadership skills to drive excellence in all aspects of our data center construction projects.
Responsibilities
Manage and provide technical support for the construction of data centers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards.
Utilize Bluebeam, Autodesk Suite, and AutoCAD to design, plan, and execute construction plans.
Oversee the implementation of data center networking and infrastructure, including containment solutions.
Act as a key point of contact for all technical troubleshooting, providing swift and effective solutions to any issues that arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
Leverage Salesforce to track project progress, maintain client relationships, and drive sales efforts.
Continually stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, implementing new strategies and technologies as necessary.
Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on data center infrastructure.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Autodesk Suite, and AutoCAD.
Extensive knowledge of data center networking and infrastructure.
Experience with containment solutions.
Proficiency in Salesforce.
Proven track record of successful project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
