Test Engineer

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of project experience
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Test Engineer at Theas Energy. The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects, and provide feedback on usability and performance improvements. The Test Engineer will also document test results and track issues using bug tracking systems.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
