The Transmission Line Engineer role at Commonwealth involves performing engineering functions under general supervision. The position requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. This role also includes entry-level involvement in change management/ improvement initiatives, task management and client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities:
Engineering Deliverables:
- Prepare a variety of moderately complex engineering and deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies with limited supervision.
- Prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles used in similar engineering analysis.
- Assistance with the development of internal standards.
- Quality checks of other engineers' projects.
- Direct coordination with clients and stakeholders.
- Independently attend internal and external client meetings, conference calls, and client site visits.
- Collaborate with teams, project managers and supervisor on project status and complete timesheets and reports.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree - Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Minimum 2-year basic engineering duties as entry level engineer at an Engineering consulting firm
