TRANSPORTATION PLANNER

The Transportation Planner is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Transportation and the Department of Senior Services.

Positions are located in Montgomery, AL. This is professional comprehensive multi-modal transportation planning work in urbanized or statewide areas. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)

  • Graduation from an accredited* four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning/Studies, or a closely related field.
  • OR
  • Graduation from an accredited* four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in any area and one (1) year of responsible experience in planning to include transportation planning, urban planning, and/or community planning in a state, federal, or local agency.
  • OR
  • Successful completion of a Master’s Degree from an accredited* college or university in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning/Studies, or a closely related field. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S)
